Successful Award Ceremony in Moscow Despite Obstacles

Carefully planned safety precautions were necessary during the prize-giving ceremony of the Russian history competition on 26 April in Moscow. After the booking of the original venue was cancelled at short notice, the competition host MEMORIAL, a member of the EUSTORY network, was able to move the event to the Nikitskie Gate Theatre.

Expert Panel on the Efficiency of International Youth Dialogues

How do international youth encounters support cross-border dialogue and understanding? Danish Award Ceremony 2017

On March 26, 2017, the award ceremony of Denmark’s 11th EUSTORY History Competition took place during the historical festival »Historiske Dage« in Copenhagen. Organised by the Danish History Teachers’ Association, this year’s competition encouraged Danish students to explore the topic of »Denmark in the world - the world in Denmark«. In total, 70 participants submitted 24 entries.

Strong Interest in the Topic of Religion

This year's competition is the twenty-fifth consecutive German History Contest that Körber-Stiftung has organised. “The large number of participants working on the topic of "God and the world. Religion makes history" proves that young people are interested in religion,” said Sven Tetzlaff, head of the foundation's Education Department.

Czech Example of Historical Research
