On 4 October 2019, the prizewinners of the 12th Iberian History Competition received their awards at the emblematic library of the Real Maestranza de la Caballería de Ronda (RMR) in Spain.

About four hundred guests attended the ceremony. Among them were Ms Soledad Becerril, former Minister of Culture and first woman minister since the Second Spanish Republic, Mr Gaspar Atienza (RMR) and the Mayor of Ronda, Ms Paz Fernández.
